Spanish Grammar on Repeat

About the channel

Spanish grammar you can sing.

Spanish Grammar on Repeat turns one grammar point into one pop song. Sol sings every line in Spanish, then what it means in English, so you never sing words you don't understand. The chorus states the rule, the verses show it in real sentences, and the song repeats it until it sticks.

Your host

Meet Sol

Sol is the face of the channel. You'll recognise her by her long wavy hair, her tomato-red bomber jacket and the black headphones she always wears round her neck. She sings along in every video, points at the grammar while it's sung, and moves out of the way when the lyrics need the space.

Her name is the musical note after re and mi: Remi hosts our English channel, Grammar on Repeat. And sol means sun.

Sol is an animated character, and the voice you hear is AI-generated. She's the same in every song, so wherever you start, you know where you are.

The colour code

One colour per form, in every video

The same form keeps the same colour in every song, and its English meaning takes the same colour: tuve and “I had” are both orange. After a few videos your eyes spot the pattern before you've read the word.

  • Infinitivehablar
  • Yo (I)hablé
  • Él / ella (he / she)habló
  • Imperfect (used to)hablaba

Behind the songs

How a song is made

  1. 01

    One grammar point

We pick one point for one level, like the regular past or the imperfect, following a syllabus built on the Instituto Cervantes' Plan Curricular, from A1 to C2.

  2. 02

    Lyrics written for learners

Every Spanish line is followed by its meaning in English. The chorus states the rule, and the verses use it in sentences from adult life: work, dinner, dates, the gym. Spelling follows the RAE.

  3. 03

    Music made with AI

The music and the singing voice are produced with AI tools, always in the same voice, which also sings our English channel's songs, so every song feels like the same artist.

  4. 04

    Checked word by word

Before a song is used, speech recognition listens to it twice, in Spanish and in English, and compares every line with the lyrics. If a line isn't clear, we don't publish that take.

  5. 05

    Karaoke, built from the timing

The video lights up each word at the moment it's sung, colours every form, and brings in Sol. YouTube labels it as altered or synthetic content.

Who it's for

Teenagers and adults learning Spanish, English speakers first, from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2). Every song shows its CEFR level, and the examples come from grown-up life. The Spanish is neutral, understood in Spain and Latin America. It's a music channel for learners, not a children's channel.
